The NZPF Junior & Masters National Championships is a premier event in the Aotearoa powerlifting calendar, bringing together the country’s strongest junior and masters lifters to compete for national titles. Held annually, this championship showcases both rising young talent and experienced athletes who continue to push the limits of strength and performance.

The 2026 edition will take place from 1-3 May at the Auckland Showgrounds, providing a stage for lifters from across New Zealand to test themselves against the best in their divisions. Participation requires athletes to achieve qualifying totals at NZPF-sanctioned competitions, ensuring a highly competitive field.

More than just a contest of strength, the NZPF Junior & Masters National Championships is also a celebration of the powerlifting community. The event highlights dedication, sportsmanship, and the camaraderie that defines the sport across generations.
